Don’t do it all by yourself!

This session is all about finding a suitable business partner...

In starting and growing your business, you may find that you can’t do everything on your own.  And recruiting a “copy of me” to take load off isn’t the complete answer.  It is not necessarily a sign of your inexperience or lack of skills, it’s in fact very common.

So how do you go about finding business partners?

This is not just growing the volume of your business, nor just finding people who share your passion or vision, it is about opening your business to individuals who complement your skills.

In this session we will identify those skills and experience that you will need for your next steps in business and we will explore how to go about finding them.

Participants will get a certificate counting towards 2 CPD hours. (recognised by the CPD institute)

About the facilitators:

Mark Elliott has over 20 years experience in businesses large and small, growing and starting up, with money and without, internationally and here at home.

Mark was part of the (in)famous Creative Pioneer team at NESTA, working with highly talented creative individuals, and is currently developing the Sales and Marketing activities for exciting eco-design business, www.DIYKyoto.com. He will share his insights as a Business Advisor specialising in Creative and Early Stage companies.

***

Servane Mouazan: Founder and Executive director of Ogunte and the Global Tribal Network, Servane has a long track record of collaborative partnerships with entrepreneurs and campaigners, private companies and second-tier organisations. She will help the participants to remove the inner obstacles that prevent them to find suitable business partners.
